The focus of the conference will be the arithmetic and algebraic aspects of quadratic forms, although related areas are also welcome.

The conference opens Monday morning December 16th and closes Saturday 21st. Sessions Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday running from 9 AM through 18:00 with a break for lunch between 13:00 and 15:00. On Saturday will have short talks of 30 minutes from 9:00 until 11:00. Wednesday will be free for excursions. Should we have many request to give extra talks we will try to schedule them after 18:00.

Financial Support.
At this moment, we are able to cover the accomodation from December 15 to December 21st for invited participants.
Getting to Llanuras de Diana.
There are several daily flights from Santiago International Airport to Punta Arenas (Lan , Sky Airlines ). For those arriving on Saturday (14th) or Sunday (15th) to Punta Arenas the conference organization will provide transportation from the airport to the hotel Llanuras de Diana.
In order to determine the best time for the buses to leave the airport to the hotel it is very important that you let us know your flight schedule as soon as possible filling out the registration form. In this way we can accommodate the bus rides. Those flying to Puerto Natales (note that we don't know yet SkyAirline schedule, but in past years there are only two flights a week) please let's know the arrival date and time and we will contact you.
On Saturday 21st we will also provide bus transportation to either Punta Arenas (airport) or to Puerto Natales. If you are planning to arrive on a different day from those above please let us know in advance .
Some useful information.
- One of the main attractions of the area is National Park Torres del Paine, about 2 hour ride from the hotel. We will contact a travel agency to organize a trip to Torres del Paine on Wednesday 18th. ÿTour fares will be announced later.
- For companions, meals and transportation has a charge of US$ 50 per day, including sharing a room. Also some tours will be available for them.
- Even in summer time the weather in Punta Arenas/Torres del Paine could get cold and windy, we advise you to bring suitable clothing if you plan on going on any tour outdoors.
- In and around the hotel the best phone provider is 'entel', that gives access to phone calls as well as to internet connection (3G). The hotel has phone and internet connection.
- The closest town to the hotel is Puerto Natales, about 30 km.
